Texts in the history of ideas, on Turkey, Islam, and some other subjects

I have a PhD in the History of Ideas from the University of Gothenburg where I worked between 1999-2008. From April 2008 I am a curator at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg. I also do acitivst work on Human rights issues in Turkey with Amnesty International.

This web page is a way for me to collect my academic work and have a place to put some writings I have done in other arenas. Most of the texts are in Swedish, put I hope to have somethings to offer also English readers, mainly on Islam and Turkey. I have been writing some on the Nurcumovement in Turkey and its main writers: Bediüzzaman Said Nursi and Fethullah Gülen . In the bibliography you can find titles for articles and where they can be find. In the textpage you can  find some English texts.
